National and state housing leaders agree that housing is the largest opportunity for rapid economic recovery and growth for families and communities. Iowa faces widespread demand for quality, affordable housing. The state  is expected to gain approximately 47,000 households by 2030, while much of Iowa’s housing stock is aging and many Iowans are overburdened with housing expenses.

The Governor's 2021 Housing Omnibus bill advanced critically needed resources to bolster the housing supply and to provide financial help to Iowans who need it most, but our work is not done. Bring your questions as this diverse group of Iowa leaders will discuss what's next for ensuring all Iowans can afford to live in the communities in which they work.
