This training will provide an introduction to IFA's average income test policies and procedures directly from the consultant who aided IFA in their development! All attendees will leave better equipped to implement the requirements of the new average income test set-aside and armed with a course manual full of references and useful tools.
The training will also include a refresher on LIHTC compliance principles and frequently asked questions for new and experienced tax credit professionals, alike. It will also serve as a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) exam prep course for experienced professionals who may be interested in gaining their certification.
The HCCP designation is the most widely recognized designation in the LIHTC housing industry. A vital step in becoming an HCCP is passing the challenging exam, developed and sponsored by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB).
This course is offered on both Wed., Sept. 4 and Thurs., Sept. 5.
The HCCP Exam is offered the morning of Friday, Sept. 6 and requires a separate registration.
Housing professionals must have a minimum of two years’ industry experience to earn the HCCP designation.
