Stress and anger cause a physical short-circuit and brain sections that handle self-restraint, reason and consequences essentially disconnect. This can result in outbursts of aggression, agitation or reckless behavior. We’ve all experienced this to some degree. However, individuals with mental health or addiction issues or who may be undergoing trauma are more vulnerable…and often with worse consequences. C3 De-escalation® offers ways to gain control of a situation effectively, calmly and with no one getting hurt. C3 stands for Calm Circuit Connection. The method is an innovative, practical technique that works with brain function to calm aggressive or distraught individuals.

Attendees will learn how to:

- Spot early signs of building aggression
- Use quick, practical techniques that shift aggression
- Get cooperation instead of a fight

One Iowa homeless shelter has already seen a dramatic decrease in police calls after their staff were trained on this technique! No matter your industry or role, this training will provide practical tips you can employ immediately for your origination to:
- Prevent Mental Health Crises
- Decrease Police Calls or ER Visits
- Improve safety for clients, staff or others
- Decrease stress
- Decrease negative outcomes such as jail time or broken relationships
